A man was carrying glass on a donkey cart when the cart overturned due to an open gutter on the way, and the glass broke. The man sat on the footpath, holding his head, and started crying, wondering what answer he would give to the owner. People around also came and began to offer sympathy and consolation. Meanwhile, an elder came, placed a hundred-rupee note in the man's hand, and said, "Son, I know this will not make up for your loss, but still, keep it." Following the elder's example, the people standing around also helped the man with fifty or a hundred rupees. In a short while, the money for the glass was fully recovered. The man began to thank everyone. One of them said, "If you really want to thank someone, thank that elder who showed us the way and quietly slipped away."

The reality is also this: we all want to do good deeds, but the question is, who will take the first step? Who will show the way?

Come, let us pledge today that we must take the first step, and we must show the way.

An Academic Joke

An Academic Joke

A Shia female scholar said to me, "Ibrahim (Alaihissalam) was a Shia." I asked, "How?" [83] Surah As-Saffat, Translation: 'And indeed, among his Shia (followers) was Ibrahim'." I said, "Then you will also agree to this," She asked, "How?" [11] Surah Al-Hijr, Translation: 'And We had already sent before you among the Shias (factions) of the former peoples. And no messenger would come to them but they used to ridicule him.' [4] Surah Al-Qasas, Translation: 'Indeed, Pharaoh exalted himself in the land and made its people into Shias (factions).' [32] Surah Ar-Rum, Translation: 'From among those who divided their religion and became Shias (sects).' [159] Surah Al-An'am, Translation: 'Indeed, those who have divided their religion and became Shias (sects) - you have no relation with them in anything.' [69] Surah Maryam, Translation: 'Then We will surely extract from every Shia (sect) whichever of them was most insolent against the Most Merciful.'" Hearing this, that scholar laughed and said, "I was just joking! 😅"
