I want to become rich?
He said: Adopt contentment, you will become rich.
I want to become the greatest scholar?
He said: Adopt piety (Taqwa), you will become a scholar.
I want to become respected?
He said: Stop stretching your hands before creation (people), you will become respected.
I want to become a good man?
He said: Benefit the people.
I want to become just?
He said: Whatever you consider good for yourself, desire the same for others.
I want to become powerful?
He said: Put your trust (Tawakkul) in Allah.
I want a special status in the court of Allah?
He said: Remember Allah abundantly (perform Dhikr in abundance).
I want abundance in sustenance (Rizq)?
He said: Seek forgiveness (Istighfar) abundantly.
I want my prayers (Duas) to be accepted?
He said: Always remain with ablution (Wudu).
I want the completion of my faith (Iman)?
He said: Adopt good manners.
I want to meet Allah on the Day of Judgment purified from sins?
He said: Perform a bath (Ghusl) immediately after ritual impurity (Janabat).
I want to avoid sins?
He said: Do not eat what is forbidden (Haram).
I want to rise in light (Noor) on the Day of Judgment?
He said: Seek forgiveness (Istighfar) abundantly.
I want Allah to have mercy on me?
He said: Stop committing oppression.
I want Allah to conceal my faults?
He said: Have mercy on the servants of Allah.
I want to avoid disgrace?
He said: Conceal the faults of people.
I want to become beloved to Allah and His Messenger?
He said: Make whatever is beloved to Allah and His Messenger your beloved.
I want to avoid adultery (Zina)?
He said: Guard your gaze.
I want to become obedient to Allah?
He said: Take care of your obligatory duties (Fara'id).
I want to become a doer of good (Ahsan)?
He said: Worship Allah as if you are seeing Him, or that He is seeing you.
O Messenger of Allah! Which thing brings forgiveness for sins?
He said: Tears, humility, and illness.
Which thing cools the fire of Hell?
He said: Charity (Sadqah) and maintaining family ties (Silah Rahmi).
What thing cools the anger of Allah?
He said: Patience (Sabr) over the miseries of the world.
What is the greatest evil?
He said: Bad manners and arrogance (Takabbur).
What is the greatest goodness?
He said: Good manners, humility (Tawadu), and patience.
I want to avoid the punishment of Allah?
He said: Stop being angry with people.
