An order was issued in the court of Genghis Khan for the execution of three people, so a woman reached the court weeping and screaming. Among them, one was the woman's husband, the second was her son, and the third was her brother. Genghis Khan said to the woman, "You choose one of them, and I will pardon his punishment." The woman replied, "A husband can be found again, and I can give birth to another son too, but there can be no replacement for a brother." (Therefore, I choose the brother). Genghis Khan liked this choice, so he pardoned the punishment of all three. (Al-Bidayah wan-Nihayah by Ibn Kathir, Al-Turki edition, Dar Hijr 17 / 166)

The Pure Nature of Madrasa Students

The Pure Nature of Madrasa Students

Shaykh al-Quran Maulana Mufti Muhammad Zarwali Khan Sahib (R.A) used to say: The students of madrasas are very pure creations. One day in our madrasa, I punished a student for some mischief. A short while later, my hand stopped moving and became lifeless. I went to a doctor for a check-up. After examining it, the doctor said, "Respected sir, did this hand function before? All its veins are dried up; it seems as though there was never any life in this hand." Mufti Muhammad Zarwali Khan Sahib (R.A) narrates: I came straight from the doctor's clinic to the madrasa and called that student. He came fearfully, wondering what had happened now. When he came near, I made him sit in front of me and said, "We are humans; only Allah Almighty knows the true measure of how much punishment is justified for a particular mischief. We do not possess this measure. Perhaps I exceeded the limit while striking you. Please forgive me and perform dam (spiritual healing/blowing) upon my hand." Mufti Sahib said that the student was weeping bitterly and saying, "Respected sir, do not say such things... You are our Shaykh." But when I insisted, he placed his hand on mine to perform dam. He hadn't even blown yet—it was a Tafsir class, and I was sitting in front of the Holy Quran—that the very hand about which the doctor said the veins were dried up and medical science says there was probably never any life in it, began to move as soon as the student placed his hand on it. And my paralyzed hand became completely fine and healthy again, just like before. Then Hazrat remarked that these students have no purpose other than acquiring Prophetic knowledge; there is no creation purer than them anywhere in the world. *Therefore, it is requested of the teachers (Mudarriseen) to act with caution and patience.* __________📝📝__________ Narrated.
