He (Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanvi, may Allah have mercy on him) said: Now Muslims should simply turn to Allah Almighty altogether and supplicate (make Dua) to Him. But it is a matter of regret that the belief of Muslims has become such that Allah does not accept supplications, and this is completely contrary to the facts. Leave aside the supplications of Muslims, Allah Almighty did not even reject the supplication of Satan; He accepted it, and that too in a state when he was being rejected and expelled. Accordingly, it is ordained: "He said, 'My Lord, then reprieve me until the Day they are resurrected.' [Allah] said, 'So indeed, you are of those reprieved, until the Day of the time well-known.'" And then, he made such a grand supplication that no Prophet has ever made to this day.
