♦️♦️ *The Consequence of Disrespecting a Teacher* ♦️♦️

Mufakkir-e-Islam Hazrat Maulana Ali Miyan Sahib Nadwi (Ra) has narrated an incident. He states that a student used to study with us, whose name was Ahmad Ali Nigrami; Hazrat has also mentioned his name in his book. He said that the student was extremely intelligent. When he reached the second year of Arabic, he began learning Arabic, and by the time he reached the third year of Arabic, he could speak Arabic fluently; all the teachers were proud of him. However, when Hazrat Maulana Sayyid Sulaiman Nadwi (Ra) established his spiritual connection with Hazrat Thanwi (Ra), some students of Nadwa opposed him and went on strike, and this student was leading from the front. Before he could even graduate from his student life, he fell ill. He contracted such a dangerous illness that his family members tied his hands and feet and kept him at home. He narrates that since my brother, Abdul Ali Sahib (Ra), was a doctor, he was called to examine what kind of disease the student had fallen into. Following that, he treated him extensively, but he did not recover. I went to the service of my teacher and said, 'Hazrat, this student has troubled you a lot. Have you given him any curse?' He states that Hazrat did not give any reply. Then I said, 'Hazrat! If you have cursed him, please forgive him; I seek forgiveness on his behalf because he was an extremely intelligent student.' Hazrat did not say anything to me, so I returned.

The next day when I went, Hazrat said, 'Alright, I have forgiven him, and I have prayed for him.' He states that on the very third day, I saw him in the market walking safe and sound. I had high expectations that he would do great work, as he was a better writer than me, but after a week, it was learned that he passed away in an accident.

The True Meaning of Being a Scholar of Allah

The True Meaning of Being a Scholar of Allah

If "Tent of Laila" is written on a tent, but when someone peeks inside, a dog is tied up there, that tent will have no value; instead, people will mock it. In the same way, a Moulvi (cleric) is one who belongs to the Moula (the Lord/Allah). The fragrance of the Lord should emanate from his tent (his presence). That is, the fragrance of Allah's love should be felt in his company; through his company, love for Allah should be born, and love for the world should leave the heart. Therefore, the entire world is captivated by the fragrance of those scholars who belong to Allah. It is through such godly scholars that religion has spread, and all our elders are examples of this. But those scholars who remain indifferent to the people of Allah and do not suppress their ego, and the public comes to them considering them godly, but when they see that a dog of love for the world (Hubb-e-Dunya) and love for status (Hubb-e-Jah) is tied inside their tent while the Lord is absent (Moula Nadarad), they become very disappointed. Today, the disrespect towards the people of knowledge is due to this very reason; otherwise, the creation is still devoted to those scholars who have enjoyed the company of the friends of Allah (Ahlullah). ـــــــــــــــــــــــــــ📝📝ــــــــــــــــــــــــــــ Book: Khazain-e-Shariat-o-Tariqat Page Number: 135 Author: Hazrat Maulana Shah Hakim Muhammad Akhtar Sahab.
