When the British, despite their oppression, tyranny, and excesses, could not subdue the Muslims in the Indo-Pak subcontinent, they conducted a survey of the whole of India through a commission to find out the reason behind it. The commission submitted a report stating that to subdue the Muslims, it is absolutely essential to erase the spirit of Jihad from their hearts, and the method for this could be to make someone here claim prophethood who considers Jihad forbidden (Haram) and obedience to the British mandatory. For this purpose, the British selected Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani, who was working as a clerk in a government institution at that time. The reason for his selection was that the Qadiani family had been against Muslims since day one; during the Sikh rule, they joined hands with the Sikhs to participate in wars against Muslim freedom fighters in various regions of Punjab, and then during the British era, they also fought against the Muslim Mujahideen. Mirza Qadiani declared the prohibition of Jihad and made obedience to the British mandatory, and then he gradually claimed to be a servant of Islam, a preacher of Islam, a Mujaddid (reviver), Imam Mahdi, the likeness of Jesus (Maseel-e-Isa), a shadow prophet (Zilli Nabi), a manifestation prophet (Barozi Nabi), an independent prophet, and even went as far as claiming divinity. All of this was done under a pre-planned project and a dangerous conspiracy.
