In ancient times among the Arabs, a man would never sell his wife's horse; instead, he would slaughter it so that no other man could ever ride it—such was their sense of honor (Ghairat).

When a woman is buried, her family members gather around the edge of the grave, surrounding it in such a way that no stranger can come near it! Voices are raised, saying, "Cover the funeral bier, cover the grave!" All of this happens out of a sense of honor for her, even though she is deceased and wrapped in a shroud!

Are living women not more deserving of this honor and protection?

A woman's attire speaks volumes about her father's upbringing, her mother's chastity, her brother's sense of honor, and her husband's manhood!

Culture, freedom, and democracy do not mean abandoning values, modesty (Haya), and ethics. Fear Allah regarding your daughters and women.
