A Rare Example of Loyalty to Scholars...
The Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia, Sheikh Abdul Aziz Al-Sheikh (may Allah preserve him), performed Hajj on behalf of Imam Ibn Hazm, Hafiz Ibn Abd al-Barr, Imam Mundhiri, Imam Nawawi, and Hafiz Ibn Rajab (may Allah have mercy on them). The Sheikh says, "I have benefited greatly from the books of these Imams; I consider them my benefactors."

It was engraved on the ring of Umar bin Abdul Aziz (may Allah have mercy on him): "Al-Wafau Aziz" — Loyalty is rare.
