*Title: The Founder of the Nechari Sect*

At this moment, before you is a booklet written by Hazrat Maulana Mufti Wasif Sahib Damat Barakatuhum Al-Aliya. This booklet contains a discussion on Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani and Sir Syed Ahmad Khan.

Regarding this subject, Hazrat Maulana Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani (may Allah have mercy on him) writes in his Islamic Fiqh:

"Sir Syed Ahmad was the first person to sow the seed of the Fitna of rejection of Hadith and Islam in India" and "This is the primary source of Mirza Qadiani's teachings."

Sir Syed Ahmad Khan started this trend of writing booklets to please the British, and later Mirza Qadiani followed his example and used the same model of Maulvi for himself. This spark lit by Sir Syed Ahmad Khan was exploited by Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani.

When discussing the views of Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, one teacher wrote about him in Dar-ul-Ifta as follows:

"The purpose of mentioning Sir Syed Ahmad Khan in the context of denial of Ahadith is that his Fitna and his ideologies were in conflict with Ahl-e-Sunnat Wal-Jamaat, and Sir Syed himself, in view of Islamic Aqaid and Fiqhi Masa'il, predicted his status as the founder of the Nechari philosophy."

In matters of Mazhab, he is also subject to his natural disposition, and denying the aforementioned rational traditions leads to the denial of this established Aqeedah in the form of decline.

This Fatwa of Muhammad Qasim Sahib is important because he writes about Sir Syed Ahmad Khan:

"Regarding Sir Syed Ahmad Khan, the Fatwa is below the level of Kufr, he is an irreligious and misguided person, and in view of Fitna and Irtidad, one should avoid this person who is the founder of the Nechari sect, and promoting his book is not permissible."
