🥀🍁 New Anthem of India 🍁🥀

(With apologies to the soul of Iqbal)

India is better than the entire world,

But our garden is now being desolated.

Even while living in our homeland, we have become strangers,

They now search for our trace even in our food.

Mountains of deceit now stand in every direction,

All the ministers are liars, and so is our ruler.

Only hatred is being nurtured now in our country,

They have turned our garden of paradise into a hell.

O water of the River Ganges! Now people are saying,

That our caravan had never landed here.

Taking the name of religion, they keep malice in their hearts,

How much our India has changed!

Inflation, corruption, lynching, and riots all the time,

In all of these, our India is leading.

Disgrace and humiliation are happening in every direction,

The current era has become our enemy.

O Iqbal! What can we possibly tell you now?

Our hidden pain has now become public knowledge.

The Piercing Truth: Caliph Sulayman and Sheikh Abu Hazim's Dialogue

The Piercing Truth: Caliph Sulayman and Sheikh Abu Hazim's Dialogue

Sulayman bin Abdul Malik, who was a king of the Umayyad dynasty, once inquired from Sheikh al-Hadith Abu Hazim (may Allah have mercy on him), "What is the reason that we love this world and dislike the Hereafter?" He immediately replied, "Because you have populated and built up your world, and ruined your Hereafter. Therefore, you fear moving from a populated place into a ruined wasteland." Then Sulayman asked, "If only we could know what our condition will be in the Hereafter?" Abu Hazim replied, "Read the Quran, you will find out." Sulayman asked, "Which verses should I read?" He recited: (اِنَّ الْاَبْـرَارَ لَفِىْ نَعِـيْمٍ ،وَاِنَّ الْفُجَّارَ لَفِىْ جَحِـيْمٍ) meaning, 'Indeed, the righteous will be in pleasure, and indeed, the wicked will be in Hellfire.' Sulayman then inquired, "What will be the scene of the servants' appearance in the court of Allah?" Abu Hazim answered, "As for the righteous, their state will be like a traveler who returns happily to his family after years of separation. And as for the wicked, their state will be like a runaway slave who is captured and presented before his master." This truthful speech of Sheikh Abu Hazim pierced Sulayman's heart like an arrow of profound impact, and he cried out and began to weep intensely.
