The Creation of the Heavens and the Earth

Allah Almighty has created the entire universe and everything within it without any precedent (matchless). The mention of the creation of the heavens and the earth appears in several places in the Holy Quran, and in some places, it is explicitly mentioned how many days it took to create each. After examining all these verses together, it becomes clear that the matter of the earth was prepared first, and while it was still in that state, the matter of the heavens was created in the form of smoke. Then, the earth was spread out into its current form and shape, and simultaneously, all things within it were created. After that, the seven heavens were fashioned. In this way, the heavens, the earth, and everything between them came into existence. This entire work was completed in a total of six days. Allah Almighty Himself states in the Holy Quran: "And We did certainly create the heavens and the earth and what is between them in six days, and there touched Us no weariness." (Surah Qaf: 38).
