They used to read the Quran, now they belong to the mobile;
They used to worry for the Ummah, now they belong to the mobile.
Carrying the fragrance of love for the Prophet in their hearts;
They used to speak of righteousness, now they belong to the mobile.
How beautiful were the days with the concern for religion (Deen);
They used to sit in the mosque, now they belong to the mobile.
The direction where there was fear of the eyes committing a sin;
They used to turn their faces away, now they belong to the mobile.
If it was considered objectionable in the eyes of Islam, such a
Desire they used to crush, now they belong to the mobile.
Not even for a single moment should it be infatuated with anyone other than God;
We used to restrain our hearts, now they belong to the mobile.
