✿ The Right of Recitation
Allama Ghazali (Rahimahullah) (d. 505 AH) states:
The true right of reciting the Quran is that the tongue, the intellect, and the heart all participate in it. The tongue assists in the correct pronunciation of letters with tarteel (measured recitation), the intellect clarifies the meanings, and the heart takes effect through admonition and obedience; thus, the tongue is occupied with tarteel, the intellect with interpretation, and the heart with accepting advice.
