May there be no name, nor any high station,

Let there only be the salute of Your pleasure.

Your grace upon my every step,

And may Your word (Holy Quran) reside in my heart.

Give me no pride in wealth,

Nor the intoxication of fame.

Just grant me such guidance, my Lord,

That I find ecstasy in my worship.

May I neither become haughty, nor remain debased,

May I never clash with Your creation.

Make my heart and capacity so vast,

That I may always walk the path of patience and gratitude.

Grant light (Noor) to my heart,

Grant consciousness and wisdom to my words.

Cast a glance of mercy upon my state,

And grant acceptance to my deeds.

Your pleasure be my life,

Your fear be my devotion.

Let there be no deception, no show-off,

May there only be sincerity and simplicity.
