Some people consider performing wudu (ablution) while standing to be Makruh (disliked), whereas the correct view is that performing wudu while standing is not Makruh, rather it is contrary to etiquette (Adab). This is because the respected jurists (Fuqaha) have counted performing wudu while sitting on an elevated place among the etiquettes of wudu, and going against etiquette does not necessitate it being Makruh.
