Ruling on an Iftar invitation by a non-Muslim.
It is permissible to break the fast (perform Iftar) with all those pure and halal things that are halal and permissible to eat; therefore, if a non-Muslim hosts an Iftar with pure and halal items, then breaking the fast with it is inherently permissible and correct. However, nowadays most of such programs are organized for political purposes, therefore, one should exercise caution in participating in them. (Kitab-un-Nawazil/Vol:6/Page:349)
