عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، قَالَتْ : قَالَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : إِنِّي لَأَعْلَمُ إِذَا كُنْتِ عَنِّي رَاضِيَةً وَإِذَا كُنْتِ عَلَيَّ غَضْبَى ، قَالَتْ : فَقُلْتُ : مِنْ أَيْنَ تَعْرِفُ ذَلِكَ ؟ فَقَالَ : أَمَّا إِذَا كُنْتِ عَنِّي رَاضِيَةً ، فَإِنَّكِ تَقُولِينَ : لَا وَرَبِّ مُحَمَّدٍ ، وَإِذَا كُنْتِ عَلَيَّ غَضْبَى ، قُلْتِ : لَا وَ رَبِّ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَتْ : قُلْتُ : أَجَلْ ، وَاللَّهِ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا أَهْجُرُ إِلَّا اسْمَكَ(بُخاری شریف:۵۲۲۸)
Translation : Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) says: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said to me: "I understand when you are pleased with me and when you are angry." Siddiqa asked: "How do you recognize this?" (Because happiness and unhappiness are states of the heart, clues are needed to recognize them). He said: "When you are happy with me, you say: 'No, by the Lord of Muhammad!' And when you are angry, you say: 'No, by the Lord of Ibrahim!'" Siddiqa said: "Why not, meaning what you say is correct, I do not leave anything except your name, meaning love remains settled in the heart even then." (Tuhfat-ul-Qari)
