وَلَوْ يُؤَاخِذُ ٱللَّهُ ٱلنَّاسَ بِظُلْمِهِم مَّا تَرَكَ عَلَيْهَا مِن دَآبَّةٍۢ وَلَٰكِن يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ إِلَىٰٓ أَجَلٍۢ مُّسَمًّى ۖ فَإِذَا جَآءَ أَجَلُهُمْ لَا يَسْتَـْٔخِرُونَ سَاعَةً ۖ وَلَا يَسْتَقْدِمُونَ(۶۱)(سورۃ النحل)

Translation

And if Allah were to seize people (immediately) because of their wrongdoing, He would not leave any living creature on the face of the earth, but He gives them respite until an appointed time. Then when their appointed time comes, they will not be able to advance or delay it even for a moment (61) (Asan Tarjuma-ul-Quran)
