Cheating or helping to cheat in an exam
The purpose of an exam, as required by the syllabus, is to test and evaluate the aptitude and capability of the students. Therefore, for any student to cheat or help someone cheat by looking at someone's answer sheet during an exam, or to carry written answers with them, is a violation of administrative rules, a deception of the examiner, and because it leads to grave evils like falsehood and breach of trust, it is Islamically impermissible (Na-jaiz) and a severe sin.
