Muhaqqaq Masala

Islamic ruling on a few methods of slaughtering an animal:

(1) In Shariah-compliant slaughter (Zabh-e-Shar'i), it is necessary to cut at least three out of the four veins of the animal: Hulqum (the respiratory tract/windpipe, which is called the throat), Mari (the food and drink pipe from the throat to the stomach), and Wadajain (the two blood vessels that are on the right and left of the throat, called the jugular veins). In the case of cutting less than three veins, the slaughtered animal will not be Halal.

(2) After the soul has completely departed and when the animal becomes cold, its neck should be separated at that time. Separating the neck before it becomes cold, which causes pain to the animal, is Makruh (disliked).

(3) After slaughtering and before the animal becomes cold, cutting the vein of the neck bone with the tip of the knife, which causes pain to the animal, is Makruh (disliked).

...And the Angel of Death Arrived!!

...And the Angel of Death Arrived!!

A young girl was walking in a supermarket in a provocative manner, flaunting her body. Her attitude carried such vanity and self-conceit as if the world had been created solely because of her. A pious and righteous young man was passing by. Out of sympathy, he said, "My sister! Refrain from this behavior of yours. If the Angel of Death arrives while you are in this state, what answer will you give to Allah?" In response, the arrogant girl said, "If you have the courage, take out your mobile phone right now and call your Lord to send the Angel of Death." The young man says, "She said such a terrifying thing that I feared the market might be overturned upon us. Fearing this, I quickly left the place. When I reached the edge of the market, I heard screams and wailing behind me." "I turned back and saw a crowd gathered at one place; it was the exact spot where I had spoken to that girl. I froze upon seeing the scene. The girl was lying dead at the very spot where she had challenged to summon the Angel of Death. I had left immediately after that challenge, but the girl fell face down at that very moment and breathed her last. Because the Angel of Death had arrived...!" (Aeen al-Quloob, Mustafa Kamil) Dear readers! This incident is absolutely true and took place in an Arab country. About twelve to fifteen years must have passed since this incident; when it occurred, its echoes were heard in local newspapers and gatherings. "Sometimes a person, in the intoxication of arrogance and youth, or the pride of wealth and power, utters extremely wrong words from their mouth, not knowing that it could very well be the time of acceptance of prayer." And a grip from the Lord upon their words is also possible, therefore one should always speak good words from the mouth... Extracted from "Golden Incidents of the Acceptance of Prayers".
